This is our only hike that you can get a car to the top as well so even if you only wanted to go up the trail someone could meet you at the top to bring you back down. Or you can drive up and down it so you can get the view without all the hard work! But the last couple of years you do have to make a reservation to go up the mt

This is a fun and easy hike for kids but still has great views of the Somes Sound. It also has a nice beach in the middle which is fun for a picnic site or swimming.

This is an exciting hike up with some ladders and bars but also a mellow hike back down the back side of the mountain with a nice pond called the bowl in the middle of it. (I didn't bring my kids on this until they were a little older because of the narrow trail
