a breathtakingly beautiful SAND beach! located on park loop road in Acadia National Park. Open dusk to dawn. There are bathrooms and changing rooms in the parking area.

Always a must for Acadia, popular spot, best to arrive before 9am or after 6pm. Able to link up with Ocean Path & Great Trail Head.

Large beach on the ocean, and at the beginning of Ocean Drive So many hiking trails and beautiful views!

Sand Beach is beautiful with it's rocky coastline and Mt view of the Beehive. The water is freezing and the wind is sometimes strong but our family swims there and it's a favorite scenic spot for anytime of day or year.
