Motherby House

Motherby House is an 18th century grade II traditional farmhouse, the house has lost none of its original charm. Hooks embedded in oak beams show where bacon was once cured and log fires add to the warm homely atmosphere. Families are always welcome. Unwind and relax in our oak beamed living room with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee and a selection of home made cakes. There is off road parking and secure storage for cycles. The hamlet of Motherby, is positioned between Penrith and Keswick.

You will be staying on the edge of the village with views of fields, woods and hills. Only a few minutes riverside walk to village centre where there is a variety of places to eat , shops, pubs, Brewery! homemade Gelato! Your room is a comfortable double ensuite room with its own access . There is tea and coffee making facilities in the room, access to a utility room with sink, toaster, fridge , toilet and washing machine. There is outdoor seating, private parking and room for bicycles.

You’ll be charmed by this adorable place to stay, we're in a quiet area of Blackpool with good transport to all that Blackpool has to offer, we're very close to the North and Bispham beaches and the main area of the illuminations. We have a large shared lounge on the ground floor and a front garden to relax in on those warmer days.
