Cosy log cabin for 2 in a peaceful location with the River Holme running beside and only a short 10 minute stroll to Holmfirth where you will find an array of independent shops, riverside cafe's, bars, restaurants and The Picturedrome, Holmfirth's popular live music venue. If you're looking for a different place to stay in a central location with all the conveniences of being home from home then we would love to welcome you at River View Lodge. The house has a lovely handmade kitchen and dining area with separate dining room, complete with full size suit of armour and double-sided gas-controlled fireplace to cozy lounge/reading room. The playroom/tv room, with views over fields and woods has direct access to the patio. Possible for guests to hire a hot tub (Idle Hot Tubs).

The Bunker (Holmfirth’s hidden gem) with parking!

Built in our garden, this hideaway serves as accommodation for our large family to use when visiting. It has a large open plan kitchen/lounge diner with a sofa bed, one double bedroom, an office area, bathroom and a utility room housing the laundry facilities. It has underfloor heating and is double glazed. There is a dedicated parking space on our drive and a deck to sit on, in good weather.

The lounge / dining area has the original stone fireplace with a wood burner. Original stone flooring and a juliet balcony overlooking the River Holme below. Two bedrooms both en-suite. A king bedroom and an adult size bunk bedroom. (Our secluded garden is slightly separate, to the side of the house. It’s a 10 second walk to the side gated entrance)
