A short walk from the thriving village of Ludham yet set it stunning countryside with off-road walking right from the door; Ludham Hall Cottage is the perfect escape. This two bedroom house is set in truly unique surroundings, both historically and in terms of wildlife. A short walk will take you to the 1,000 year old St Benet's Abbey and you might well see several species of duck, geese, deer and owls. Starlink wifi adds a modern twist!

Set within the Broads National Park, Martham is only 3.5 miles to the coast. We are walking distance to local amenities. Canoe and day boat hire are available in the village, to explore the Broads. Nature trails, marsh and river walks too. Only 15 miles to the beautifully historic city of Norwich and 8 to Great Yarmouth.

Living in a Lighthouse

A magical converted 18th-century lighthouse located on the edge of the picturesque village of Winterton-on-Sea, Norfolk. A building with a rich history, mentioned in Defoe's Robinson Crusoe and used as a lookout tower during World War II. The original tower has now been extended at ground level, with a simple glass and timber structure, which opens onto a cedar deck and garden. The property has been widely featured in interiors magazines and national newspapers.

Wifi is not available in this room, but can be picked up around the Farm.
