An old pharmacy is now a wine bar with about 160 local varieties. It's arguably the most beautiful and welcoming bar in Bairro Alto, with a décor that maintains much of its past -- the cabinets formerly displaying medication are now filled with bottles illuminated by dim lighting. With such an inviting interior it's not surprising that it attracts tourists and locals who stay not just for the wines but also for the cheeses and meats served at barrels turned into tables. A second smaller room next door has a similar ambience but this time with a décor made up of Indian crafts and with the possibility of also drinking tea.
