The cabin sits on the North Toe River. 2 BR fully furnished cabin is so comfy and cozy with every detail thought of. The hot tub with the view of the river & the firepit with wood furnished is a great way to spend the day outdoors… Enjoy hiking, fishing, tubing , and watching the wildlife that frequents the property. Winery’s , skiing & shopping near by.

A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located in the mountains of Spruce Pine, NC. There isn’t a coffee shop on every corner, just a slower pace that we all need. Only 10 miles to the Blue Ridge Parkway with Beautiful Overlooks and Hiking.. A BEARY RELAXING Cabin is located a 1/2 mile from the Toe River for fishing and kayaking. The Penland School of Crafts is 3 miles away and the beauty of the campus can not be beat. We are halfway between Boone and Asheville for all that these two towns offer.

Mountain View, walking trails, water falls etc. Mineral Museum, Rock Capital of the world. The cabin was built several years ago. After I had discovered Little Switzerland and fell in love with the area. Richard my son and I built the cabin. My wife and I both work in a School system so we were able to spend all summer there and many weekends. So there not much time available to share the cabin. As we aged we use the cabin very little and decided other might enjoy it like we did.

One-bedroom cabin w/ air conditioner, heaters, queen bed, full kitchen, living area, and bathroom with hot shower & indoor dry-flush toilet (does not use water). TV, Wifi, linens, dishes, coffee/tea, breakfast foods, fridge/freezer, microwave, fire pit, picnic table, and more! Just minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway! Explore our 5 acre property and visit the small pond in back. Please ensure pets are leashed - we have ducks. The hosts also live on the property in a separate house.

Beech and Appalachian are other ski areas, but they are a bit further away. Linville Gorge, Grandfather Mountain, and Mt Mitchell are easily day hikes.

Regrettably the apartment is not child proofed, therefore we can’t accept children under 4.
