My wife, Raechel, and I originally designed and built this ADU ( accessory dwelling unit ) with the intention of living there full time, but due to a change of plans, it's available to you. The space was designed by Buckenmeyer Architecture, and was constructed by me. Our space features many unique elements such as: burnt cedar siding, 16' multi-slide window wall (please open and close slowly), and moveable cedar slat screens/ We hope you enjoy the space and neighborhood as much as we do!

Sweet Hideaway is a little, cozy space for couples or solo travelers looking for a peaceful refuge in the trees, yet only a 10 minute drive to downtown. You will have your own entrance and enjoy a Tempurpedic queen bed, a smart TV, your private bathroom, a dining/kitchenette area with a bar table and stools, mini-fridge, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, tea, coffee, treats, utensils, a private table and chairs on the deck over the trees. For 2+ night stay, free use of washer/dryer.

My Ladd's Addition apartment is well-positioned to allow you to explore Portland. Located in a quiet neighborhood halfway between the bustling streets of Hawthorne and Division; from here, you can easily walk to coffee shops, restaurants, bars, grocery stores, and a movie theater. This apartment has its own entry, a very comfortable queen size bed in a basement studio setting. The location is quiet yet right in the middle of two of the most desired locations, the Hawthorn and the Division street. There are cafes, coffee shops, cider houses, bars, shops, restaurants, grocery stores all within walking distance or bus. There are 3 bus routes close by and street parking is never an issue. The Kitchenette is very well stocked with most things you'd need.

The guest cottage offers self check-in. It is located in a quiet neighborhood in SE Portland. High ceilings make this studio airy and bright. We think of it as a perfect hotel room without the hotel. The small galley kitchen has everything you need to cook a gourmet meal including filtered water. There is a full bathroom with tub and shower. The bathroom floor is heated plus a TV in both the great room and bedroom. You have the entire place to yourself because it is detached from our primary house.
