On the roof of shopping center "Galleria Riga" there are several good restaurants. Magnificent view, quiet (despite being in the city center) and still not discovered by tourists. Recommended for sunset watching with your loved one. Prices can be a bit high.

67 Dzirnavu ielaOn the roof of shopping center "Galleria Riga" there are several good restaurants. Magnificent view, quiet (despite being in the city center) and still not discovered by tourists. Recommended for sunset watching with your loved one. Prices can be a bit high.
This is very budget-friendly, because you can get you stomach full for 3 EUR or even less. They serve "pelmeni" or dumplings - a traditional Eastern European / Russian food. And in the middle of Old Town! Latvians don't go to McDonalds they go to Pelmeni XL.

Everybody loves it because it is atmospheric, with very good and friendly service and serves best mojitos in town. Fridays and Saturdays it can be quite packed but you are almost guaranteed to have a good and a bit crazy time.

Nice sights on the yacht port. Romantic. Few tourists. Good restaurants nearby. Might be a bit noisy on the weekend because there are also some clubs nearby.

Carnikava is a small town not too far from Riga. You can get there by the train. This is the place where river Gauja flows in the Baltic sea. Views there are sometimes otherworldly because or orange sand. Good for photos. Might be a bit crowded in the summer.

A "riverbeach" at the very center, next to Vansu bridge. Recently opened and a nice place to enjoy a drink and maybe even go swim a little.

I don't know why but it has very few visitors and it is possible that you will have all the hall for you and few more people. No idea how it hasn't bankrupted yet :) www.splendidpalace.lv
