Serving the famous NOLA po-boy since 1911, parkway is the go to po-boy shop in Mid-City. I'm a sucker for the roast beef, but the surf and turf (shrimp and roast beef) and fried oyster are always on point as well.

Voted best fried chicken in the world according to several prominent food critics, and I have to agree. Be prepared to stand in line, but it's worth the wait!

New Orleans newest outdoor bar. Great for watching games as they have a lot of TV's hung around outside. The on site food trucks have been quite tasty in my experience. Beware the line at the bar can get pretty long on busy nights!
