The oldest fine arts museum in the city of New Orleans. The permanent collection at the museum features over 40,000 objects, from the Italian Renaissance to the modern era. Surrey rentals and paddle boat rentals available at Big Lake Trail in the park.
Visiting exhibits can be great. The permanent collection is okay. Sculpture garden is fantastic for a stroll when the weather is nice.

“Just a great museum! If you happen to be so lucky to be staying on a Thursday evening, the Ogden hosts the "Ogden After Hours" which runs from 6-8pm it features live music and a few cocktail bars. Enjoy the Art, Music and have a drink as you explore the museum. Great views of the city from the roof top veranda. Very Fun!!!!”
