Dartmoor can be seen and is only a 10 minute drive. Be sure to visit Brentor church (one of the highest in the UK 1,100 ft) with stunning views of Dartmoor from the top!

The Old National School is a Grade II listed house, nestled in the beautiful hamlet of Sampford Spiney, located within Dartmoor National Park. Dating from 1585, the house sits in an idyllic spot between the Church and picturesque Sampford Manor. Originally the Church hall, it became the parish school in 1887 until 1923. It was only in the 1960’s that it became a residential dwelling. With its varied history, the house is quirky, with its lovely spacious rooms hinting at its eclectic history.

The Dairy is a unique and beautifully renovated tiny home, with an open plan living area and a mezzanine sleeping deck. The property is set in a peaceful secluded valley, only 5 minutes drive from the market town of Tavistock. There is a south facing deck, equipped with barbecue and sun loungers, perfect for sunbathing and alfresco dining. The sleeping area has limited head height and is accessed by ladder only, please do not book if this is at all challenging for you.
