There is a large dam on the property, which brings with it a huge range of wildlife, and kangaroos in the top paddock with sunset views to Fremantle. Only a few minutes to the shops and trainline to the city, 30 minutes to the airport and 40 minutes to the city.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.
