Welcome to our cottage on the lake! We renovated this home through the spring of '18 and are so thrilled to have it ready for you! Sitting less than 30-feet from the sandy bottom of Bass Lake, this house is a charmer in all seasons. In the winter months, enjoy snowshoeing across the lake and come home to a cozy fire. It’s open floor plan provides lots of space to enjoy both inside and out. Escape the village and visit Traverse City or the wineries, each only 30 minutes away. Don’t forget to pick up a fresh cherry pie along the way!

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape just steps from Grand Traverse Bay. Paradise Pines Resort is a group of vintage rental cottages built in 1938 and recently restored using creative reuse practices. We have 10 cottages of different sizes. Some have full amenities, and some require you to bring your own supplies. Walk or bike ride into the charming waterfront village of Elk Rapids or cross the street to enjoy a swim at our extensive county park with beach and art trails.

Rustic 2 room cabin-12mile to TC, 1m to ER

Rustic cabin originally built in 1951, less than a mile from Elk Rapids and 12 miles from downtown Traverse City! Boat launches and beaches in every direction. I want to reiterate the rustic aspect. The cabin is old. The tile is marked in places, the carpet weathered. The places has..character.
