Spacious 3 bedroom cottage in heart of Beacons

Cwmclyn Canol is a quiet and cozy cottage inside the Bannau Breicheniog National Park with a pub within walking distances and footpaths directly onto Pen Y Fan. The cottage was refurbished in 2022 to a high standard and boasts magnificent mountain views. Additional views include waddling ducks, squabbling chickens and honking geese. Good wifi, TV/DVD, films and a box of games. Kitchen has plenty of everything and there is a log burner in the living room as well as a firepit outside.

The Cottage

Newly renovated, this lovely 2 bedroom cottage is located on the beautiful Whitney Estate, 5 miles from Hay-on-Wye and a 30-minute drive to Brecon Beacon National Park. A short walk away, the village of Whitney-on-Wye offers a riverside pub, canoeing and gourmet shop/café. Walking paths weave through the property and are easily accessible. In addition to numerous area activities including hiking and canoeing, the estate offers salmon fishing beats which are available for guests.

A walkers paradise, the cottage is in easy reach of the Wales coastal path and is a stunning walk along the beach into the village. The setting is idyllic, peaceful and private. A centrally heated stone cottage converted from a piggery, with slate roof, private patio, seating, hot tub (add on) and barbeque.
