Experience the joy of staying in an off grid solar powered house. This modern light filled 2 bedroom house with open plan living area offers spectacular ever changing views down the valley and across the sea to Kangaroo Island. The house stands alone on 2.5 acres. Secluded and private country property with 'walled' secret garden, native and exotic trees. Generous living area with polished wooden floors throughout, a cook's kitchen and floor to ceiling glass doors. The main bedroom opens onto the deck and the garden beyond or the stars above. Enjoy the hot water outdoor shower under the sun or stars. (yes, we do also have an indoor shower) Watch the wildlife - native birds, kangaroos and the occasional echidna through the floor to ceiling picture window. There is also a resident family of hares. Telstra & Optus get good reception but may depend on your phone's antenna quality. 90 mins south of Adelaide GPO 5 mins to Deep Creek Conservation Park + 10 mins 4WD drive to Blowhole Beach Experience the scenic walk (or the 4wd drive) to the surf and popular fishing spot at Blowhole Beach. 10 mins from Cape Jervis and Sealink ferry to Kangaroo Island. A short 10min drive to Morgans Beach at Cape Jervis, Second Valley and Rapid Bay beaches. Discover the varied walks within Deep Creek Conservation Park with its stunning coastal scenery, or explore beyond to Tunkalilla, Waitpinga or Parsons Beaches along Range Rd to Victor Harbor (45min). Visit the beautiful Raywood Nursery growing and selling exotic and native plants 5mins away on Tappanappa Rd, with a 1000yr old Grass tree in the carpark growing near the carpark. Closed Tuesday & Wednesdays. We have a dam on the property, which may or may not have water, so parents with young children will need to supervise them at all times.

Hay una chimenea de combustión lenta para los meses más fríos (proporcionamos madera), una cocina totalmente equipada, múltiples áreas de estar, comedor al aire libre/terraza con barbacoa Webber, una sala de televisión dedicada, 2 baños y una lavandería. ¡También encontrarás wifi gratuito, juegos de mesa, libros y tenis de mesa!

Pelican Cottage está en la orilla del mar de Pelican Lagoon, un parque marino orientado al este/norte. Está a 4 km de la localidad de American River y a 5 km de la playa de Pennington. Esta encantadora e histórica casa de campo cuenta con una recámara en la fachada con vista a Pelican Lagoon, desde donde podrás disfrutar de las vistas de nuestro jardín nativo y del agua. La segunda recámara tiene vista al jardín. Cocina en la cocina bien equipada. Hay un baño independiente. Siéntate en la terraza y contempla la vida silvestre, el amanecer, la salida de la luna y el mar.
