We stroll to the gardens and hedgerows to collect and forage for seasonal botanicals to add to your bespoke GIN or RUM, at the designing counter. You will be tasting the crude maceration and cuts. The refining and distilling part of the masterclass takes place within our distillery where we will process and distill the artisan spirits in a little copper still. then we serve the first glass of the freshly made gin or rum which all the guests will sample in a taste and critique session with a variety of tonics and garnishes. End your masterclass with a full tasting session in our Tiny House, Tree House or Shepherds Huts with an amazing grazing/tapas platter (meaty or veggie). Choose to overlook our Gin Gardens or our breathtaking woods... Our signature evening session is great for everyone but designed to be super social - so gather your crew, come for date night, or come alone and meet some new folk. Expect prosecco and beers on ice and the music turned up! (non-alcoholic bevs supplied on request too of course) This short, relaxed and easy-going workshop is designed to inspire you to create your own ceramic homeware pieces - from serving bowls to coffee mugs, trinket dishes or candle holders. Clay can be unpredictable, and this session is about embracing possibility, enjoying the process, the imperfection, and not worrying too much (or at all) if your makes aren’t quite matching your inspo pics. Our tutors will work with you to take your reference images and ideas and translate them into something deliverable within the timeframe. We’re happy for you to play and work towards whatever shapes you like - and our tutors are committed to supporting your vision no matter how big! However they are also expert at helping you refine a big plan into something manageable so that you have something tangible to take away. At the end of the session your piece will be sitting pretty on our drying rack, and if you want to keep it, we’ll get it fired for you just as soon as it’s kiln-ready.

Discover the medieval capital of the Kingdom of England with a PhD medieval historian. Dr Lillian Cespedes Gonzalez, local to Winchester, studied medieval history in this city as well so you will get insider and history knowledge all at the same time. Learn about King Alfred the Great, King Arthur and the Round Table, as well as empowering female locals such as Licoricia of Winchester. We will also walk by Winchester Cathedral, Winchester College and the Barracks. Discover the landing beaches in small or private groups, up to 8 people. I will tell you why the Allies decided to land in Normandy and why on June 6th. Visit the major spots in the American sectors of the Utah and Omaha beaches (Sainte Mère Eglise, American cemetery, Pointe du Hoc), the British sector of Gold Beach (Arromanches artificial harbour, Pegasus bridge), or the Canadian sector ofJuno beach, (Juno center, Canadian cemetery). I will guide you personally in the Airborne museum and in the cemeteries where we will take time for understanding and meditation. You will learn how difficult the landing was in Omaha. I will also show you my secret favourite places, off the beaten track. I will tell you stories of locals I interviewed, including those of my dad. I will also be glad to drive and guide you at Mont Saint Michel, and let you discover the great medieval city of Bayeux, my native town. Our sea kayaking adventure in Studland bay is something pretty special. It marks the beginning of the Jurassic Coastline, a UNESCO World Heritage sight which also happens to be an iconic landmark Old Harry Rocks, that is filled to the brim in myth, magic and legend, with the tales of pirates and smugglers contributing to the history of our home which we happily share along the way. Old Harry Rocks is a beautiful and iconic sea kayaking destination, and the best way to explore this iconic landmark is from a sea Kayak, our hut on the shores of Middle beach is just a short paddle away. After an inital safety briefing you will join us and jump aboard the kayaks to explore Studland bay in Dorset before heading out to Old Harry Rocks. From here, you will be guided you to explore the sea caves, arches and stacks of this iconic landmark by kayak. We will have frequent stops to discuss this area of outstanding natural beauty and there will ample opportunity to learn about the eco system and geology along the way. These trips are run using double sit on top kayaks so you will be sharing a kayak. If you are booking an uneven group number we have some single kayaks for this situation, if you want a single kayak please contact us and we can discuss this with you. Min age 12+. Your experience throwing on your own Japanese Shimpo wheel will be fun and informal yet informative and productive. You're definitely going to throw your own bowls. We start by familiarising you with our Pottery studio, the wheels equipment and tools we will use during your experience. Then it's straight onto the wheel where you learn to centre the clay, and throw a pot. Once you have your pot formed we'll clean it up a bit and lift your creation from the wheel to dry. Then we'll do it again. You will be shown how to throw 4 shapes in the time NOTE PLEASE: No children under the age of 12 yrs old, this is an adult experience and not catering for children Please be aware there is a small extra cost if you decide to keep your pots, this is for the bisque kiln firing and seashell and granite glazing(see photos) and you can decide either way on the day if you want to keep your them (or not) and how many (Postage & Packing is included in the additional cost.). No pressure to keep anything its entirely your choice £12p pot if you can collect £15 P&P The pots dry for about 3 weeks, rubbed down, marked with your name, then into the kiln for 2 days to bisque fire, they then are glazed by Rob with his hand sourced materials, Cornish granite and seashells, back in the kiln for 2 days. Looking for a stroll, but with a twist ? Well look no further than our brand new Goat Walking experience. Take one of our cheeky goats for a walk along various routes around The Ranch whilst they feast on the foliage. You will find that the goats are gentle loving creatures full of mischief intelligence and just love human company.  You will lead your own personal goat on a leisure stroll with frequent stops for them to nibble on their favourite leaves and bushes and for you to take photographs of the occasion. The Cider Farm Tour and Tasting begins in the Tasting Room with a sample of excellent organic apple juice, and an introduction to the Cider Farm family. We venture into the orchard of 3000 West Country cider apples. You discover some of the fascinating history and folklore behind cider and experience a surprise 'Wassail' or orchard blessing. Bees are important to us and we tell about their role in pollination, chemical free farming and wildlife. I explain how we craft our British Champion Ciders over 8 months from sun ripened apple to crisp, golden nectar in a glass. With a behind the scenes tour of apple pressing, harvesting and bottling equipment, you can see how see we press the apples and produce the ciders. We encourage guests to ask us questions about the art of blending and the alchemy of turning apple into award winning, amber-gold cider. The Tour is completed with a sampling of 4 delicious, handcrafted ciders, all made from organically grown cider apples, from Sweet Maiden cider, Old Harry Rocks vintage, Dorset Wild Cat, to our Elderflower, Ginger or Damson ciders. After the tour, you can relax in the Cider Garden, admire the art. Please dress according to the weather with appropriate footwear and coat, as we take you for a walking tour of our orchards.
