Burr Oak is home to the Laura Ingalls Wilder Museum, the only childhood home that remains on its original site. Secluded and peaceful cabin on top of quarry cliff, just a few minutes from town. The cabin will comfortably sleep four, with two mattresses in the loft and a futon in the living area. There is no electricity to the cabin but there is a nice power block with up to 14 hours of use per charge. 10 gal. of water is provided, also a camp-bag shower. An outhouse is on site.
