The house is powered by solar array and Tesla batteries, so we won’t have a blackout even during power outages as long as not a lot of AC being used.

On rare occasions During summer months, our electric company may shut off power during high wind or extreme fire conditions as a safety measure. These outages are usually short but can last several hours.
