It offers the best of both worlds. It is great place just to relax; sit on the porch or deck and watch for wildlife or read a book.

Summer Shoals cabins (NO ELECTRIC, WATER, HEAT, AC OR BEDDING) are on a beautiful piece of private Cumberland River property. Our sleep cabins are right on the river and each cabin has a charcoal grill picnic table and fire ring. Our property is in the National Wild and Scenic River corridor and a premier small mouth fly fishing location. Surrounded by the Daniel Boone National Forest. A large eagles nest is across the river. Deer, bear, coyote, river otter and beaver are seen regularly.

Creekside Adventures

Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place. Our guest suite is very spacious and open. Many of our guest have let us know how inviting and relaxing it is to stay in. We also have a creek where our children use to play when they were little. Kids can easily play in it when the weather is nice but please be careful on the walls and stones. We also have a pool area that is available for swimming during late May through early September. We do not allow pets. NO PARTIES.

There is one bedroom with a queen-size bed, perfect for your getaway. A full-size folding futon sofa bed in the living room can accommodate 2 additional people. This apartment features a full kitchen with stove, dishwasher, full-size fridge, icemaker, and Keurig. Access to the apartment is via a shared driveway with a free parking spot available.
