We received a very warm welcome into an absolute amazing home. The self check instructions were very clear. Everything was as advertised and we got a private tour of Garin's studio as well.
We enjoyed our time here very much and would definitely visit again!

Lovely, comfy place to stay with beautiful decor and history. We chatted briefly with Garin in person and he is quite interesting and welcoming. Great place to stay if you’re hopping over to storm king.

Awesome place: the structure is an older building (like 1700s) , but the charm and attention to detail is matchless. Everything you need is at your fingertips; adore the old wood floors & bathroom/shower. I was in NY for a family weekend at West Point so I didn’t spend as much time at the property; but after one day there, was already planning for a return visit. The bed in “Rose Room” really comfortable. I had some challenges with the parking ( at night it’s a bit darker than I’m accustomed to with the walk from the rear of the property to the front of house). There are however motion sensored path lights on walkway to front steps. Be mindful you will have to climb stairs. The dog is cute & super friendly. The host responded in a reasonable amount of time to any questions I had.

This place was perfect for what I needed. I was apprehensive about shared bathrooms and noise but it was fine. Other guests were respectful and quiet, I never had any issues with bathroom time and the bathroom stayed clean. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure and temperature were sometimes inconsistent, but not a huge deal. I was ultimately very comfortable there.
