It is located in an ancient, typical nineteenth-century spa, wooden villa "Romanówka". The object was located at 1990 at ul. Pilsudski was demolished and after restoration in 1992-1994 reconstructed in a new place in the city center, at the Dietl Boulevard, opposite the Old Spa House. The museum is widely represented in the works of one of the world's most famous painters from the circle of intuitive painting, Nikifor (circa 1895-1968), almost a lifetime living in Krynica. The documentary part of the exhibition is a memorial to Nikifor, publications dedicated to the painter and his photographs. The museum is also a venue for the exhibitions of renowned artists.

Muzeum w Krynicy-Zdroju, w którym zgromadzono obrazy i pamiątki po słynnym malarzu-prymitywiście, Nikiforze Krynickim. Muzeum ulokowane jest w drewnianym budynku "Romanówka" w centrum Krynicy.
