Shady Creek winery is just a few minutes up the road. It features a tasting room and a large outdoor seating area and they often have live music. They serve food also.

This is a large beautiful winery based near the Botanical gardens. Very reasonable prices, good food, and staff is friendly and helpful to describe the wines. This is a gorgeous winery with indoor and outdoor seating.

The place itself is so close you can walk (or bike) and it is adorable! Friendly staff and that cozy locals feel. Full transparency, I'm not a huge fan of Midwest wines... but they have a sister winery in California and there Cal blends are a lot better!
