There are beaches, and then, there’s Fort De Soto Park. This expansive park and historic site offers one of the most stunning beaches in Florida. And, beyond the beach, there are other treasures to discover.

This State Park is about a 35 minute drive away but is perfect for a day trip with your family! This park focuses on wildlife preservation as well as offers a ferry to Egmont Key, kayak rentals, and the Fort to explore! A day trip here will cost you only $5 and that pays for parking all throughout with plenty of parking lots. Multiple Beautiful beaches, wildlife, nature trails, and much more to explore! As a child beach picnics with my father here were my favorite.
