A very unique spot, just 20 min away! Considered to be Mount Rushmore of NY, there are many neat carvings on the cliffs of these rocks and a nice trail takes you to the top of the ledge for some amazing views. Only about a mile and well worth the effort.

Often referred to as New York’s Mount Rushmore, this larger-than-life monument to one man’s achievements in the name of industry is a must-hike-to-see while you’re in the Great Northern Catskills.

New York's Mount Rushmore. One of the earliest Civil War monuments in the nation and an easy hike for kids. The sculptures at the top and the view of the valley make the short climb more than worth the effort. (Tip: pack swimsuits and go for a swim in the Schoharie Creek after if the weather permits)

Amazing views and beautiful scenery just minutes away! Bring a picnic and a bottle of wine and enjoy the great outdoors :) Otherwise known as New York's Mount Rushmore. The site is free and open to the public daily, and a steep path leads to the rocky base-relief chronicling Pratt's accomplishments indelibly.
