If you like frog legs or gator tail try it at the linger lodge. Extensive taxidermy on display while you wait for your food.

Off the beaten path, not easy to find . Old time lodge over looking the Braden River. Mounted fish, interesting collection of taxidermy...snakes and other small animals native to the area. The food is very good! Ranging from gator, burgers, wraps,and salads.

Al Roker named Linger Lodge as one of the Top 5 Weirdest Restaurants in America. Been there since 1945, Old Florida at its best, but if you want contemporary fine dining, Lake Wood Ranch has many excellent restaurants!

A quirky authentic restaurant and local favorite. Have yourself the Gator Bites appetizer (yes, eat alligator - tastes like chicken) and for the main course we recommend the Catfish.
