Cool bar in the heart of the French Quarter but down an alley. Gothic themed. Maybe not for everyone, but fun to check out.

Heavy metal bar, 2 levels, and patio. Cheap crawfish ($5 all u can eat) and PBR (1$) during crawfish season on mondays.

Small dark, dance club with rock and metal music with skull lined walls. Not for everyone but worth a look. Music is loud and the bathrooms are behind bookcase doors.
