Appalachian State's Turchin Center For the Visual Arts is a great place to go to see everything from local art to famous featured pieces. It is right on the edge of App State's campus on King Street.

Located in nearby Boone, this is the largest visual art facility in Western North Carolina, Eastern Tennessee, and Southwestern Virginia and features works of art from international, regional, as well as local artists.
