One of the best seafood restaurants in town. A little pricey but worth it and they are one of the only restaurants in town actively using environmentally friendly practices.

Located on Newcastle Harbour Scratchleys is one of the city's most iconic restaurants. Seafood is what they specialise in with the menu being a smorgasbord of ocean delights, highlight being the famous Scratchleys Seafood Platters. Brimming with Blue Swimmer Crab, Balmain Bugs, King Prawns, and Sydney Rock Oysters, there really is no better experience than sitting window side and watching all the happenings of the harbour go by.
