Adobe Books & Arts Cooperative

This great independent bookstore almost went of out business, but a bunch of like-minded people joined forces to save it and transform it into a co-op. Their new location on 24th Street carries both new and old books, and their art gallery programming, with a focus on local artists, has always been really well respected in the city. They don’t have any set agenda with their art on display, and just like any gallery, they try to mix it up to keep it interesting. Check the events calendar on their website to see what’s up.
