Durrell Wildlife Conservation Trust is an international charity, located at Jersey Zoo, working to save species from extinction. Established by author and conservationist Gerald Durrell in 1959, Durrell’s aim is for more diverse, beautiful and resilient natural landscapes in which species can thrive and people can enjoy a deeper connection with nature. Well worth an afternoon or morning, lots of lovely animals to see and set in beautiful grounds. The cake in the cafe by the gift shop is very good as a treat!

Jersey zoo is famous as it was set up by The Durrels as in the tv programme. It is a lovely zoo and has regular babies to see.
