Mills Beach is a gorgeous beach with historic beach huts and just at the end of our street.

This is probably my most frequent beach with the kids. Its shallow for ages, often flat, and has a carpark and pavement from the shower block to the car- so no sandy bodies jumping in the car! It can be busy, but we still love it.
