A place to try truly authentic local cuisine, pretty much from 50+ years ago. It comes with a huge asterisk - most of the traditional dishes they have, come with a small hill of 'ocvirki' (small pieces of pork lard, fried) on top. It doesn't say that on the menu. If you don't feel like eating 'ocvirki' , tell that to the waiter and they will serve you just the dish, without the funny stuff on top. For anybody less adventurous, they do have more run of the mill part of the menu, so they can get wienerschnitzel and french fries here as well.

Excellent home made food, the only restaurant that offers the best "Ajdovi Krapi" (buckwheat dumplings) with sour milk.

Already travelling there you drive thru Radovna valley which is very impressive and beautiful, some sightseeing as well on the road. Can also be as a half-day trip with bicycles for sport lovers. Try buckweat dumplings with sour milk or sour kraut also Sunday's lunch with roast pork is delicious. Sometimes overcrowded and not possible to get a spot.
