Gratta Wines was established as a bonded winery in 2006 in Francisco's Bayview neighborhood. Beginning with sustainably grown grapes from the old vines of Teldeschi Vineyards in Dry Creek Valley, through the crush, fermentation, pressing, barreling and bottling, each step is done meticulously for a true hand-crafted wine. In 2015 we opened a wine tasting room in the shared space at Butchertown Gourmet Marketplace.

Founder and owner Barbara Gratta got started making wine in her garage over 20 years ago. This market and tasting room features wine, sandwiches, and goods from local makers, like JST Chocolates made by my friend Julia Street.

Barbara and Kathy are a local couple who create wonderful wine blends crafted locally. Friendly local winery with a warm friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended. Located in the back of Fox and Lion Bread.
