It isn't the greatest botanical garden but if you have some time it is a great break from the beach scene in a local neighborhood where you can grab a lunch or dinner in Wahiawa town after the garden.

This is another incredible Botanical Garden. It is a beautiful garden but you won't believe it until you drive up to it, as Wahiawa is a rough-looking town (but like most of Hawaii, very very safe). If you are a botanical garden lover, a must visit. If otherwise, don't come out here just for the garden, but maybe stop over on your way to Northshore.

Called the "Tropical Jewel" of the Honolulu Botanical Gardens, the Wahiawa Botanical Garden is a free, low-traffic park. Tall Rainbow Eucalyptus trees and tropical flowers surround walkways. If you've never seen the rainbow peeling bark of the eucalyptus trees, it is so cool and well worth the trip.
