Maidstone Museum is full of friendly staff, fine art, natural and human history. There is a selection of gifts from the gift shop, and plenty to learn about the history of Maidstone. There is also a lift to give access between the different floors.

A really great local museum. A real variety of good random museum stuff. Awesome fun for children and adults of all ages. With regular events throughout the year so plenty of reasons to go back. Can't knock something free fun and educational to do with the kids. Excellent facilities throughout from the dedicated buggy park to well maintained modern toilets, also a well stocked reasonably priced gift shop. Can't recommend this community attraction highly enough.

An exceptional regional museum set within an Elizabethan manor house. Special collections of medieval, English and European art and artefacts, Victoriana, Roman and saxon finds.
