Grasse is known for its world-class perfume production, so be sure to visit the beautiful stores in the old town. One can not miss the flagship stores of Fragonard (they sell not only perfumes and soaps, but also stylish clothes and home decor) and their museum that is a historical building itself. Molinard and Galimard are two other famous brands. Perfume workshops where you can do your own scent are worth checking into priced at 70€/90 min session. Also arranged in English. Place aux Aires is a true provencal square in the heart of the old town. Have lunch at La Cogale (wonderful owners will welcome you), buy antiques at Quatremains (say hi from Julia) and buy excellent meat at the boucherie. Best croissants, baquettes and cakes can be found at La Saluzzo, superb bakery.
