Netcare Milpark Hospital offers a Level 1 trauma centre to cater for all medical emergencies. Interestingly, while most private hospitals average 50 ICU and High Care beds, Milpark has 95 ICU and High Care beds. The hospital offers all medical disciplines except for Maternity and Paediatrics. Netcare Milpark Hospital is one of Gauteng's premier private hospitals. The hospital offers a world-renowned Level 1 Accredited Trauma Centre and is the first Private Hospital in South Africa to receive this accreditation, equipped to provide comprehensive emergency medical services to patients suffering traumatic injuries. The hospital's Trauma and Burns units has been accredited as a Level 1 Trauma Centre by the Trauma Society of South Africa and is the first private hospital to have achieved this accolade. Netcare Milpark Hospital has 95 of its 346 beds dedicated to ICU and High Care.
