For the price of a boat ride and a beer, you can experience a breathtaking one of a kind view of Toronto’s skyline at night. On Saturday evenings in the summer, the folks at the Toronto Island Marina host a live band playing rock and roll favourites. The restaurant serves classic pub fare and the service is friendly enough. The marina is less known to tourists and you won’t have to fight your way through the crowds. The sailors at the marina love to drink and you will find some waddling back to their boats late eve. A great lively friendly atmosphere. Ferry beside the water taxi, great bar open to the public with and amazing view of the city.

My little secret! Don't tell. :-) Take a ferry to Centre Island or the "tender" from Pier 4. (Google location). The marina has a bar with an outdoor patio looking back at the city. View, priceless
