This is a small island where you can walk and swim but also visit old houses to see how Finland was a few centuries ago. Squirrels are overfed by tourists so avoid feeding them with peanuts.

An open-air museum with super friendly squirrels. Great during Christmas times for their famous Christmas Walk. Dogs welcome. Free entrance.

Seurasaari is an open air museum on a small island about 4 km from the city center. It can be reached by city bikes or bus no 24. It displays old farmer's cottages, manors and other old buildings transported from the Finnish country side. Nice green oasis by the sea.
