Djurdjevi stupovi (eng. The Tracts of Saint George), one of the oldest Serbian monasteries, was built in the late 12th century and dedicated to St. George, is nowadays protected by the UNESCO The Djurdjevi Stupovi monastery, built on a hill above the city of Novi Pazar, within the complex of Stari Ras (eng. The Old Ras), is among the jewels of Serbian medieval state placed on the UNESCO World Heritage list. It is one of the oldest Serbian monasteries, endowment of Grand Prince Stefan Nemanja, which was built by the end of the 12th century. According to his son and biographer, Stefan Prvovenčani, the monastery was built after Nemanja took an oath in a cave to build a monastery dedicated to St George. This monastery has survived for last 830 years, but for 300 years it was in ruins. stupovi, jedan od najstarijih srpskih manastira, podignut je krajem 12. veka u slavu Svetog Đorđa i nalazi se pod zaštitom organizacije UNESCO. Manastir Đurđevi stupovi, još jedan od bisera srpske srednjevekovne države na listi svetske baštine UNESCO, izgrađen je na brdu iznad današnjeg Novog Pazara, u Starom Rasu. To je jedan od najstarijih srpskih manastira, koji je u slavu Svetog Đorđa, podigao veliki župan Stefan Nemanja pred kraj 12. veka.
