This open air amphitheater which holds offers a summer season of opera. It is immense and holds several thousand people. At other times of the year it is open to the public as a museum.

Beautiful example of an outdoor theatre with breathtaking architecture, it will set the scene for a summer's night theatre. Very romantic.

L’arena dello Sferisterio è un teatro all’aperto che ospita importantissime opere liriche e spettacoli teatrali. Si trova a pochi passi dalla porta Picena attraverso la quale si accede al centro storico di Macerata.
