A majestic buddhist temple. There is transit bus to 佛光山佛陀紀念館 (Fo Guang Shan buddhish museum), and have lunch there. You can take transit bus at MRT orange line 大東站 (O13, Dadong station).

佛陀紀念館值得一看的建築,內部有定期的展出,並不定期有室外的裝置藝術,館內長廊並有當代名家的筆墨石刻,全程不需門票. 館內並有精緻素食餐廳.

開山宗長釋星雲法師於1967年5月16日創辦，現已成為台灣佛教四大山頭之一（其他爲法鼓山、中台禪寺和慈濟功德會） 佛光山除了最主要寺院建築外，最具特色的是大佛城，為佛光山的地標，四周皆有 480尊小型金身阿彌陀佛塑像圍繞，景象莊嚴。此外，佛教文物陳列館珍藏古今各國文物多達數千件 元宵節燈會及煙火更是必看活動 臺鐵 高雄站下-轉搭高雄客運(往旗山)至佛光山站下 高鐵 至左營站下-轉搭高雄客運(哈佛快線)或義大客運(佛光山線)至佛光山站下
