This is the Ohio River Bluff Trail 3.1-mile out and back trail of moderate difficulty about an hour away. Take the Ohio River Scenic Byway to get there and you won’t mind the drive. This trail follows the river and has some amazing views about halfway through where there is a picnic shelter. There is also a Nature Center nearby that has some reptiles and animals on display. If you are out this way, however, I highly recommend the Overlook Restaurant in Leavenworth for their amazing views and the chicken pot pie!
