A local favorite known for their malasadas: a doughnut enriched with eggs, butter, and fresh milk then fried and rolled in sugar. Nuff said.

Home of the original Malasadas. Hot, warm doughy goodness that can be found in Hawaii, originally concocted by Portuguese immigrants (but from Island of Cabo Verde, so you won't find Malasadas in Brazil or Portugal unless you look really hard). It's quite delicious, despite being so simple.
