Most definitely go here and walk around the lakeshore and park.

This is one of the best places in the city to see the downtown skyline without going to the island. A quiet marina and century old trees create a cool place to relax during the summer months. Relatively quiet and not that busy in peak months. Used as a major hub for exercise and bicycling traffic from the city's core.

This is one of the most beautiful and serene parks and all of Toronto, and it’s just across the street! Highly recommend for picnics, or to just spend time sitting in the grass by the water.

A Royal Oak commemorating the Coronation of King George VI is planted in the south west corner of the Park. This Oak is surrounded by a ring of others and a grove of maple trees all planted in honour of Canadian War Veterans.
