So many guests day trip here for obvious reasons! Worth it and you can do it a number of ways: Get up at 5am and get there for a sunrise hike and then pat yourself on the back because it’s dedication but it’s worth it and you will remember it for years to come! Don’t get up at 5am and take a casual drive there like a more normal person, walk dove lake or tackle the summit. Drive there, look at lake, book day spa. Drink wine. Come home. All are totally acceptable approaches. And the visitor centre is incredible.
