Family restaurant for local pork & beef dishes, in a century-old wooden house with dark beams. Children & vegan friendly too.

Less expensive, less touristic , but same iconic restaurant like the Gundel. Same kitchen, same chef.

If you're not in the mood for the pricey Gundel then visit her little sister the Bagolyvár or Owls castle. Excellent food and service, a nice way to wrap up an evening after a visit to the Széchényi.

Family-style restaurant next door for the visitors of the Budapest Zoo. You can find here traditional Hungarian menu and tasty wines.
