The park, the Powerhouse and RiverWalk all combine to make for a varied and enjoyable place to spend some time. Saturday morning is the time for the local Farmers' Market, too.

The Power House in New Farm is a lovely place to visit and watch live performances. On the weekends they have markets where you can stock up on fresh produce for the next week.

It is a multi level arts and theatre on the river walk at New Farm. offering meals and drinks from breakfast to late night. Its a leisurely stroll, bicycle ride or by car it is buzzy with everyone there to enjoy the arts, comedy or each others company. Each Saturday morning the Jan Powers markets are held in the parkland.

Beautiful location on the Brisbane river. Lovely bar, live music, theatre, two restaurants, next to New Farm Park. Walk along the river.
