Amish country fun! This little shop has everything from candles, to books, to lanterns, to Amish bonnets! Step back in time and take it all in. Home made ice cream here on the porch on weekends and a restaurant in the back! Great area to visit. Fresh vegetables in road side stands and a little bakery in this community that you don't want to miss. It’s only about a short 20 minute car ride from Niangua Nest.

Old world Mennonite necessities AND a yummy lunch menu. Open Monday - Saturday, 10-5. I'm not seeing a phone number for them, but if you're adventurous, it's about 25 minutes away and sure to please.

This is Amish Country. Only about a 20 minute drive through the countryside to escape to another place and time. We love the bakery, then the grocery store (where they have the MOST amazing deli and make sandwiches there with the freshest tomatoes in the summer you have ever eaten), and several road side veggie stands for you to load up on during the season.
